KBPR Ltd, as it is now, was originally set up in April 2009 by Kate Boyle, Director, as ‘Kate Boyle – PR, Media & Events’. In April 2011 this was changed to KBPR Ltd.   We are independent PR, media and events consultants specialising in institutional finance - pensions & investments.

The company was launched with the specific aim of meeting a specific market need.  Since then, we have been attracting likeminded smaller, niche companies, who appreciate the false notion of big brand security and are passionate about growth and educating the market to a different style of offering.   Due to its size, KBPR can be more malleable to the exact needs of each and every client and so far has proved for many firms to be a natural fit.

Kate Boyle has specialised in PR in institutional finance since January 2004 working first for a small niche agency in the city and then launching independently in April 2009.  Prior to this Kate worked in recruitment and advertising.

Ellie Bennett joined KBPR in September 2010 from Pensions Age where she was Deputy Editor for three and a half years. Prior to this she spent time teaching English in Japan and completed a postgraduate diploma in journalism

Adam Sewell joined KBPR in January 2012, having spent five years as an assistant consultant with high-profile pensions consultancy firms working with trustees on all aspects of running their schemes. Prior to this he spent a short time working in investment, following the completion of his degree in History.

Kate and Ellie had already been working together for over three years in a PR/Journalist capacity before Ellie joined KBPR in 2010. Both are well known and respected within the market.

We use our joint expertise and experience to benefit clients who want a high quality, dedicated PR service at a fraction of the cost of a big agency.  Our aim is to offer a slick, affordable PR solution regardless of budget.  All our clients benefit from a boutique, personalised service.

Since inception two years ago, KBPR, has also been able to employ a number of support staff and works closely with a wider net of external suppliers.  We firmly believe in using the best skills available in the market. We have built up strong working relationships with our partners and we trust them to deliver the right result.
